About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate support worker to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to children with learning disabilities, emotional behavioural disorders, and challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide care and support to children with learning disabilities and behavioural challenges
  • Assist with daily activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of each child
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a nurturing and positive environment
  • Maintain clear communication with the team, children, and families
  • Follow care plans and support strategies tailored to individual needs
Requirements
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Previous experience in children's residential services is essential
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential (preferred)
  • Enhanced Child and Adults DBS on the Update Service
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Flexibility to work rolling shifts, including sleep-ins, with 2 days on and 4 days off
  • Ability to travel to Garstang using your own vehicle
