Multi-Skilled Engineer

Location: Bracknell, Berkshire

Salary: £27K-£36K (Depending on experience) + Benefits

Working hours: Monday to Friday 08.45

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Build/Assembly/Fabrication (30%): You will be responsible for building, assembling, and fabricating equipment and components using a variety of materials and techniques.
  2. Maintenance (60%): You will perform routine maintenance tasks, including servicing and overhauling components, as well as identifying and resolving faults on equipment and assemblies.
  3. Provide technical and engineering support to colleagues across the organization.
  4. Work collaboratively with a small team to cover projects and tasks.
  5. Assist with training new equipment and systems for technicians.
  6. Fabricate and assemble equipment designed by the Engineering department.
  7. Develop and implement a program of preventative maintenance for all departments.
  8. Identify cost-effective solutions to projects and tasks.
  9. Interpret CAD drawings for building and assembly.

About You:

Essential:

  1. Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or equivalent experience in an engineering role.
  2. Experience working in a workshop environment.
  3. Good knowledge of engineering processes and principles.

Desirable:

  1. Competency in the use of CAD software.
