Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at United Living Group. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and sign-off of our projects, as well as ensuring compliance with our company's management systems, including occupational health and safety, environmental, and quality policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Supervise and coordinate the installation and testing of electrical projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Site Management: Manage and supervise site teams, ensuring effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures, including risk assessments and method statements.
  • Quality Assurance: Verify the quality of electrical installations and testing, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, site teams, and other departments.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve problems promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to projects.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in electrical installation, testing, and supervision, preferably in the UK water sector.
  • Qualifications: Fully qualified electrical fitter (NVQ level 3 or equivalent), 18th Edition, and 2391 Test and Inspection certifications.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Personal Qualities: Positive attitude, flexible approach to work, and excellent personal presentation.
