Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Kings Norton Hospital. As a key member of our nursing team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to adults with severe and complex mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership to the nursing team and ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Ensure the effective supervision and development of staff, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Act as the lead nurse in the assessment, implementation, and evaluation of care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with patients, relatives, families, and carers, fostering a collaborative approach to care.
  • Adopt a flexible approach to hours of duty, ensuring the needs of the service are met over a 24-hour period.
  • Participate in clinical audit, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the continuous enhancement of our services.
Requirements:
  • A current NMC Pin registration (Registered Mental Health Nurse)
  • A legal right to work in the UK
