Assistant Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Psychologist to join our Children's Learning Disability service in Wrexham and Flintshire. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide psychological assessment, formulation, and interventions to children and young people experiencing psychological distress.
Key Responsibilities- Support psychological assessment and formulation of children and young people with learning disabilities.
- Develop and implement adapted psychological interventions to address behaviours of concern.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to children and young people.
- Contribute to audit and clinical research projects to inform service development.
- Good Honours Degree in Psychology.
- Eligibility for Graduate membership of the British Psychological Society.
- Experience of working with children and young people in a clinical or educational setting.
