Cognitive Behaviour Therapist CAMHS Position

About the Role
Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking an experienced Cognitive Behaviour Therapist to join our CAMHS team. The successful candidate will have a significant role in undertaking assessments and providing evidence-based interventions to children, young people, and families.
Main Responsibilities
The post holder will be a key member of our team, involved in multidisciplinary meetings, offering consultation and training. They will Care Co-ordinate and provide supervision to colleagues. Involvement in developing and maintaining clinical skills within the wider team and service development will form part of this role.
Requirements
- A recognised core profession such as Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or Psychology.
- BABCP (or equivalent board) Accredited CBT Psychotherapist.
- Substantial experience in clinical practice post-qualification or in therapeutic clinical practice.
Desirable Skills
- Experience working in a specific clinical role relating to CAMHS.
- Previous specialist CAMHS experience carrying out risk assessment with this vulnerable or high-risk group.

Significant joint working takes place with multi-agency partners with whom we have very good relationships.
