This role demands a strong foundation in SQL and application support. A dynamic software development firm focused on the energy sector is seeking a Lead SQL Support Specialist to enhance their team. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of SQL, including table management and query creation, and have experience in a senior analyst or 2nd/3rd line support capacity. The position is primarily remote, with occasional visits to the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address escalated SQL-related inquiries, including query creation and table analysis.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including Product Owners and Developers, to resolve issues.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior team members.
  • Manage both new and outstanding queries effectively.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in SQL.
  • Experience in an application support role handling escalated issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills.

Familiarity with the energy industry is advantageous. This is a remarkable opportunity within a growing software firm. The role offers flexibility with remote work, requiring only occasional office attendance. The Service Desk operates from 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday, with flexible shift options.
