Facility Cleaner - 48 Hours

The primary objective of this role is to uphold exceptional cleanliness standards across the GBS campus, ensuring a welcoming environment for both students and staff.

Important Notes:

  • A DBS check is required for this position.
  • This position does not offer sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the overall facility operations by maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including the sanitation of floors, restrooms, windows, furniture, and fixtures, as well as the disposal of waste materials.
  • Execute thorough cleaning processes, including vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping all floor surfaces to eliminate dust, dirt, litter, and stains, while replenishing antibacterial supplies as necessary.
  • Manage waste disposal effectively, ensuring bins are sanitized and free from odors, while adhering to proper waste segregation and disposal protocols.
  • Verify the safety of all cleaning equipment prior to use, reporting any issues immediately. Ensure that all cleaning tools and machinery are cleaned and stored properly after each use.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a cleaning capacity within commercial settings is required.
  • Familiarity with the use of professional cleaning agents and tools on diverse surfaces.
  • Experience in a customer-oriented environment is essential.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with a variety of individuals.
  • A flexible and proactive work ethic with a positive attitude.
  • Basic understanding of Health & Safety regulations related to equipment and cleaning agents.
  • Ability to work independently and meet the demands of the role.
