Role Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Senior Backend Engineer to create robust and dependable database systems tailored to the needs of our organization. Your role will encompass the development, testing, enhancement, and upkeep of both new and existing databases to ensure efficient data access.

As a vital member of our IT department, you will work closely with developers to maintain system integrity and offer technical assistance to various applications. Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills are crucial for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of IT and the Backend Chapter Lead, your tasks will include:
- Designing stable and efficient database systems.
- Optimizing and managing legacy systems.
- Modifying databases in response to requests and conducting tests.
- Troubleshooting database-related issues and malfunctions.
- Collaborating with developers to enhance applications and establish best practices.
- Collecting user requirements and identifying potential new features.
- Providing data management support to users.
- Ensuring all database applications meet organizational and performance standards.

Qualifications:
Essential:
- Proven experience as a SQL Database Developer.
- Comprehensive understanding of relational databases and design principles.
- Practical experience with Postgres and performance optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with AWS Gateways.
- Knowledge of software development and web application user interfaces.
- Proficiency in .NET C#.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred:
- Experience with Hasura GraphQL.

Key Skills:

  1. .NET and Database Development:
    - Core .NET Framework knowledge
    - .NET Framework/.NET Core 5, 6, 7+
  2. Backend Development:
    - ASP.NET Core with API and RESTful services

  5. Microservices Architecture:
