Job Title: Lifting Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Lifting Operations Specialist to join our HSE Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe planning, preparation, review, and management of lifting operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safe lifting plans and risk assessments
  • Collaborate with maintenance and facilities teams to improve lifting equipment maintenance and care
  • Train and educate crane operators on safe lifting practices and competencies
  • Chair the business crane committee to improve lifting operations safety
  • Support the HSE team to ensure compliance and best practice
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of lifting regulations and codes of practice
  • Safety qualification to at least an IOSH standard
  • Excellent working knowledge of BS7121, LOLER, and PUWER
  • Trained in NPORS N401 or CPCS A61
  • Good communication and Microsoft office skills
