Job Title: Lifting Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lifting Operations Specialist to join our HSE Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe planning, preparation, review, and management of lifting operations across our UK sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safe lifting plans and risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and facilities teams to improve the maintenance and care of lifting equipment.
  • Provide training and coaching to crane operators on lifting operations and competencies.
  • Lead the business crane committee to improve safety and efficiency of lifting operations.
  • Support the HSE team to ensure compliance and best practice to meet KPIs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • IOSH certification or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of regulations and codes of practice related to lifting operations.
  • NPORS N401 or CPCS A61 certification.
  • Train the Trainer certification desirable.
  • Lift Supervisor qualification desirable.
