We're seeking a qualified counsellor to join our Affiliate Counsellor Network and provide face-to-face counselling to our clients. As an EAP provider, we offer emotional and practical support to client companies and their employees.
The Role:- Manage online referrals promptly and accept or decline cases within agreed timeframes.
- Offer short-term counselling to clients, typically 3-8 sessions, depending on the case.
- Report back to our Case Management Team in the event of risk.
We're looking for a counsellor who is:
- BACP/UKCP/COSCA/BPS accredited or equivalent.
- Experienced in short-term counselling interventions and able to work within our EAP context.
- Able to demonstrate regular professional clinical supervision.
- Registered with the ICO as a Data Controller.
- Has access to a dedicated consulting room that meets our requirements.
- Skilled in assessing presenting issues and determining appropriate support plans.
- Experienced in short-term counselling interventions, focusing on solutions and effective coping skills/problem management.
- Previous experience in EAP or similar settings is preferred, but other relevant experience may be considered.
- Able to refer clients to other therapeutic support and knowledgeable about local resources.
- IT literate, with experience working with Microsoft Word, email, and online systems.
