Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Clinical Outcomes Framework

Assist in the development, coordination, and implementation of a clinical outcomes and evaluation framework for Paediatric Psychology, working independently under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist.

Conduct Evaluation and Research Projects

Assist in the development, analysis, reporting, and presentation of evaluation, audit, and research projects, presenting the work to audiences of professional colleagues and service users.

Involve Service Users and Carers

Assist in involving service users and carers in Sheffield's Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services through developing their contribution to all aspects of service provision, communication, and evaluation.

Gain Professional Experience

Gain additional professional experience through participating in Paediatric Psychology team activities to gain further clinically relevant experience.

Participate in Continuing Professional Development

Participate in relevant continuing professional development and attend professional clinical supervision.

Requirements
  • Qualifications

An upper second-class honours degree or higher in psychology and entitlement to graduate membership of the British Psychological Society.

Experience

Some previous relevant work experience, preferably in the health or social care setting, with evidence of ability to use own initiative in effective, timely completion of projects.

Skills

High-level communication skills, including an ability to communicate and work in settings with highly emotive atmospheres, and well-developed ICT skills for communication, databases, data analysis, and presentation.

Well-developed time-management skills and self-organizing skills, with a demonstrated ability to work independently, reliably, and consistently.
