Nashrock Insurance Recruitment is representing a prestigious and independent Lloyd's Broker renowned for its excellence in the London Market. They are currently in search of a Senior Aviation Insurance Specialist to spearhead and expand their Aviation account portfolio.

This esteemed firm, part of a larger organization, has been a key player in the industry for over two decades, delivering cutting-edge insurance and reinsurance solutions to a diverse range of global clients. Their areas of expertise include Property, Casualty, Professional and Financial Lines, Construction, Special Risks, Cargo, and Aviation.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of or Director, or a Senior Broker eager to advance their career by managing existing accounts while also developing new business and eventually building a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily management of existing Worldwide Aviation accounts
  • Provide exceptional service to clients and partners to ensure annual account renewals
  • Establish and nurture new client and underwriter relationships
  • Proactively seek to expand the portfolio through a strategic, commercially focused approach
  • Collaborate closely with the Broker Support Team to ensure accurate and timely market documentation
  • Place complex Aviation risks within the London Market Insurance framework
  • Opportunity for global travel to foster new relationships
  • Eventually build and lead a high-performing team

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of experience in Lloyd's Broking
  • Proven expertise in Aviation insurance and reinsurance
  • Strong client-facing and market engagement skills
  • Excellent negotiation abilities with a commercially savvy mindset
