About the Role
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Corporate Lawyer to join our client's team as a W&I Underwriter. As part of a strategic growth plan, the company is expanding its transactional risk business in the UK and is looking for an experienced professional to handle the entire underwriting process.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling the entire underwriting process, with a focus on UK and Continental Europe, including confidentiality agreements, non-binding indications, policy drafting, contract negotiations, and underwriting requests.
- Issuing policy documents and establishing and developing international broker and customer relationships.
- Building relationships with law firms in different jurisdictions.
Requirements
- A degree in law, commercial law, business administration, or a relevant M&A environment, such as Corporate finance in the Big 4 or Banking.
- Strong customer orientation, decision-making power, and high persuasiveness, as well as high motivation and resilience.
- Proven team skills, a high sense of responsibility, and flexibility.
