We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Samuel James Recruitment Ltd. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in overseeing the delivery of residential projects, ensuring that costs are effectively managed and controlled.
Key Responsibilities:- Produce accurate estimates, budgets, and forecasts to ensure effective cost control measures are in place.
- Monitor site performance against original plans, budgets, and financial targets to ensure key milestones are met.
- Provide detailed cost reports and updates within deadlines, regularly communicating with internal teams.
- Take full ownership of surveying responsibilities on your developments, while supporting the wider Commercial team regarding financial status and profitability.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the housebuilding industry.
- Minimum HNC in Building Studies; RICS qualifications or a degree in Quantity Surveying is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with land appraisal software.
- Familiarity with current standards and building regulations, with excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Up to £85,000 + car allowance.
