About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team at air-recruitment. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, building strong relationships, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Maintain and develop strong relationships with over 125 client accounts, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiating and closing contracts with existing and new clients.
  • Sales and Marketing: Develop and deliver sales pitches to prospective clients, promoting our services and driving revenue growth.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and manage client budgets, explaining costs and expenditures, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Visit clients in London once or twice a week, addressing their concerns, and resolving any conflicts that may arise.
  • Customer Service: Deal with customer queries and courier job issues, providing timely and effective solutions.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within the courier or freight business.
  • Skills: Excellent client servicing skills, confident in delivering sales pitches, and good with budgets.
  • Personal Qualities: Desire to progress in your career, with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
