About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled EMEA Senior Category Manager for E-commerce to join our team at Hasbro. As a key member of our commercial organization, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of our toys and games category online.

Key Responsibilities
  • Category Advice and Strategy
    • Provide expert category advice to customers, based on in-depth analysis of customer journey, category content, and visual wayfinding.
    • Develop and implement category strategies to secure disproportionate wins for Hasbro via increased share of assortment, distribution, and display.
  • Data and Insights
    • Own and manage key customer, category, and shopper data and insights for the e-commerce channel.
    • Develop monthly buyer scorecards to keep buyers informed about their online category performance vs. total market and their key competitors.
  • Partnerships and Collaboration
    • Partner with the global CMI team to identify and close insights gaps on the EMEA online shopper for toys and games via custom shopper research.
    • Champion the digital shopper in internal and external discussions, ensuring that the triggers and barriers for shopper decision-making are understood and considered in category, range, space, display, and pricing/promo decisions.
  • Range Recommendations and Sales Planning
    • Lead EMEA omnichannel range recommendations for the entire Hasbro portfolio.
    • Partner with the channel director to input category insights into sales plans, e.g., customer previews, T2T/customer meetings, JBPs.
  • Change Agent and Category Management Understanding
    • Act as a change agent for category management understanding and adoption within the broader commercial functions.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any other relevant field.
    • Minimum of 5-7 years of business experience, preferably spent in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods).
  • Skills and Expertise
    • Expertise and working knowledge in category management and e-commerce is required, preferably including working experience with Amazon.
    • Strong numeracy, analytical skills, and ability to turn insights into action through clear storytelling.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, proven success in customer-facing roles.
    • Business partnership skills, able to collaborate, influence, and work in a matrix organization.
    • Experience working with retailer POS/loyalty card data (e.g., Dunhumby) and 3rd party data (e.g., Circana, SimilarWeb, Profitero).
