Under the guidance of our senior nursing staff, you will play a vital role in the execution of tailored patient care plans, adhering strictly to established protocols and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

The Patient Care Support Specialist will utilize their clinical expertise to deliver exceptional care in various designated areas, including:

  • Assisting with wound management, blood sampling, and medication administration;
  • Conducting health assessments for new patients;
  • Managing inventory and ensuring the availability of medical supplies;
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in consultation areas;
  • Preparing and ensuring the readiness of equipment and environments for patient interventions, including supporting physicians during minor procedures;
  • Providing health education and promoting wellness among patients and their families.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications

Essential

  • Open to qualified healthcare assistants or individuals willing to pursue training for this role.

Desirable

  • Completion of the Care Certificate or willingness to undertake it;
  • Certification in blood sampling or related procedures.

Experience

Essential

  • Experience in a primary care or healthcare setting;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate compassion and respect for all individuals;
  • Capability to work autonomously while also thriving in a team environment;
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
