Residential Children's Home Manager Job Opportunity

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Residential Children's Home Manager to join their team on a permanent basis in Croydon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the children's home, ensuring exceptional care and support for young individuals in residence.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans, adhering to regulatory standards, including The Children's Homes Regulations and Children Act.
  • Foster a therapeutic environment to aid the recovery of young residents from adverse life experiences.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and development within the organization, offering support to other service areas when necessary.
  • Maintain optimal occupancy levels, balancing business needs with the requirements of young people in placement.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in children's residential care.
  • Direct involvement in Ofsted inspections.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in children's residential care.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards, including The Children's Homes Regulations and Children Act.
