We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Surgeon to join our team at King's College Hospital. As a leading teaching hospital, we provide a wide range of local and specialist services across our sites.
Key Responsibilities- Provide High-Quality Patient Care: Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional care to patients with liver disease.
- Lead Multidisciplinary Teams: Contribute to the development and implementation of business plans, and lead on HPB MDTs.
- Conduct Clinical Research: Participate in clinical research and publication of relevant review articles or case reports.
- Teach and Mentor: Provide undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and exam preparation.
- Contribute to Infection Control: Familiarize yourself with infection control and hygiene requirements, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Full Registration with GMC: Hold full registration with the General Medical Council.
- Certificate of Completion of Training: Have completed a Certificate of Completion of Training in Hepatology or equivalent.
- Experience in HPB Surgery: Possess extensive experience in all aspects of HPB surgery, including minimal access HPB surgery.
- Leadership and Management Skills: Demonstrate leadership capability within multidisciplinary teams and possess management course and/or qualification.
King's College Hospital is a leading teaching hospital, providing a wide range of local and specialist services across our sites. We are committed to providing Consultant-led 7-day services and are looking for a Consultant Surgeon to join our team.
