Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Additive Manufacturing Technician to join our team at Aston Martin F1 Team. As a key member of our Model Manufacturing team, you will be responsible for the operation, programming, and maintenance of additive manufacturing systems to produce high-quality components for our F1 cars.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in additive manufacturing, with experience in operating a range of machines, including SLS, SLA, and FDM technologies. They will also have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and optimize build processes.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Operating and maintaining additive manufacturing systems
  • Programming and preparing builds for 3D printing
  • Manufacturing high-quality components, including aerodynamic parts, jigs, fixtures, and tooling
  • Performing inspections and quality control checks
  • Collaborating with design and manufacturing engineers to ensure seamless integration of 3D printed parts
