Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Additive Manufacturing Technician to join our Model Manufacturing team at our state-of-the-art campus in Northamptonshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain additive manufacturing systems to produce high-quality components for the Aston Martin F1 Team.
  • Collaborate with design engineers, manufacturing teams, and engineers to ensure seamless integration of 3D printed parts in our wind tunnel models and cars.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new additive manufacturing technologies and processes.
  • Perform quality control and inspection of 3D printed parts to meet strict engineering specifications and performance standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in additive manufacturing technologies and materials, suggesting and implementing improvements to enhance production efficiency and component performance.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in additive manufacturing with multiple years of experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work calmly and accurately under pressure, and a flexible attitude to helping fulfill the requirements of the department and team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records of production processes, machine settings, build programming, and component quality checks.
