Located in a historic Grade II-listed manor from 1705, Babington House is set within 18 acres of picturesque English countryside in Somerset. It serves as the perfect retreat for relaxation and seasonal dining, just a short drive from Bath. The venue features 33 bedrooms across its historic buildings, cabins, and lodges, alongside a formal dining area in the Orangery that offers a menu focused on seasonal and local ingredients. We are looking for a skilled Spa Therapist to join our dedicated team at Babington House.

Key Attributes of a Successful Spa Therapist:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Focused on delivering outstanding customer/member experiences.
  • Passionate about the spa industry and providing treatments.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a busy, high-profile spa environment (preferred but not mandatory).
  • A collaborative team player with effective communication skills.
  • Punctual, dependable, and trustworthy.
  • A proactive approach with a sense of urgency.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
  • Flexible availability for both opening and closing shifts as needed.
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 or equivalent qualifications related to the industry.
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required.
  • Capability to multitask and excel in a high-volume, demanding environment.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to grasp, turn, and hold objects with hands.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
  • Ability to move quickly between different areas of the venue.
  • Occasional kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing may be necessary.
Expected Working Hours:
  • Shifts will vary throughout the week, including evenings and weekends.
  • Part-time role requiring 2 days of work per week, including weekends.
Travel: Approximately 30 minutes from Bath, 50 minutes from Bristol, and 10 minutes from Frome (no local transport available from Frome).
