Job Summary:

As a Learning Disabilities Healthcare Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being. You will work closely with our clinical team and other support workers to ensure that our clients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Support clients to engage in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team to develop and implement care plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Requirements:

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate individual with a minimum of 12 months of experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism. You will have a strong understanding of the principles of person-centered care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism
  • Physical intervention training and experience
  • Restraint training and experience
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
