Autocentre Assistant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Autocentre Assistant Manager to join our team in Grantham. As a key member of our automotive service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our autocentre, delivering exceptional customer service, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, including Health & Safety, Compliance, and Stock Control.
  • Carry out vehicle servicing and repair tasks on all makes.
  • Support the Centre Manager in delivering top-tier customer service and achieving sales targets.
  • Maintain the autocentre's cleanliness and equipment.
  • Implement instructions from Regional Managers, Head Office, or Directors.
  • Promote company products and services effectively.
  • Assist in recruitment and employee development.
  • Liaise with Head Office and other departments as needed.
  • Assist other autocentres when required.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience in automotive repair and servicing, ideally including tyre fitting.
  • Previous experience in a retail environment within the automotive sector is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage workloads independently.

Work Schedule and Holidays:
  • You'll receive a day off during the week if you work on Saturday.
  • Sunday overtime (10:00 am to 4:00 pm) is rewarded with an extra £1,507.68 added to your annual salary on a rotating schedule (every other week).
  • 28 days of annual leave, including bank holidays.
