Nexgen Group is seeking a skilled Cleaning Operative to join our team at one of our static sites in the area. As a Cleaning Operative, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, handrails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors, and frames to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Sweep floors with brushes or dust control mops to maintain a tidy and organized space.
  • Mop floors with wet or damp mops to ensure a clean and hygienic surface.
  • Hover carpeted areas to maintain a clean and well-maintained appearance.
  • Empty waste bins or similar receptacles and transport waste material to designated collection points.
  • Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use and adhere to health and safety protocols.
  • Replenish consumable items such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels as required.
  • Clean toilets, urinals, hand basins, and sinks to maintain a high level of hygiene.
  • Clean communal kitchen areas to ensure a clean and safe environment for staff and visitors.

Requirements

  • Previous professional cleaning experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy cleaning equipment and supplies.
