Area Cleaning Manager

Sodexo is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Area Cleaning Manager to join our team at a large established client in Stevenage. As a key member of our cleaning services team, you will be responsible for managing a team of cleaning and housekeeping operatives and overseeing the running of the cleaning services of the laboratory workplace environment and housekeeping to a high standard.

- Oversee the running of the cleaning services, including health and safety, cleaning audits, stock control, and stakeholder management.
- Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure the laboratory workplace environment and housekeeping are maintained to a high standard.
- Monitor and report on staff absences and near misses, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with the Scientific Services Lead to ensure the cleaning services are aligned with the client's needs and expectations.
- Strong knowledge of COSHH and experience in cleaning management and team leadership.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
