Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Delivery Engineer to join our team as a Technical Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of projects, including coordinating with various teams, managing technical works schedules, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the technical delivery of project requirements, including coordinating with various teams and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Work closely with the Project / Construction Manager to ensure the effective management of projects, including attending pre-start meetings and devising a strategic programme of works.
  • Assist the Project Manager in ensuring that all HSQ&E activity and reporting is accurate, legally compliant, and within group policies.
  • Provide up-to-date and accurate reports on project progress and highlight any potential risks to the relevant parties.
  • Support the project team in producing, reviewing, and updating project plans, RAMs, and other delivery documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Department to produce and maintain site working layout drawings and other drawings required to facilitate construction.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years' work experience in civil engineering.
  • Minimum HNC/HND qualification in Civil Engineering.
  • Preferably Temporary Works Coordinator.
  • Experience supporting lifting operations / lift plans.
  • Experience and up-to-date knowledge of surveying software.
  • Must be computer literate and specifically knowledgeable in MicroStation/AutoCAD and proficient using Microsoft office.
  • Experience in co-ordination of the civil/structural works, completion of construction activities, reviewing contractor method statements, and ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and contract requirements during design and on site.
  • Ability to discuss complex technical issues and with key stakeholders, ability to persuade and influence.
  • Working knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations the Designer and principal Contractor's role.
  • Good timekeeper.
  • Responsible, conscientious, punctual, highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure, both on own initiative and as part of a busy team.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
