About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Engineer to join our team at Gloucestershire County Council. As a key member of our transportation team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our county's transportation infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver traffic engineering projects from design to procurement and construction.
  • Produce designs and contract documents that meet industry standards and guidelines.
  • Develop innovative solutions to improve road safety and sustainable travel.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and value for money.
  • Apply the CDM Regulations 2015 and ensure health and safety regulations are met.
About You

We are looking for an experienced engineer with a passion for sustainable travel and a commitment to road safety. You will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects and working effectively with stakeholders.

You will be proficient in project programming and resource management, with experience of producing contract documents and working with contractors. You will also have a keen interest in and a commitment to road safety and sustainability.
