Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Credit Controller to join our team at a growing family-run business in Sheffield. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the debt collection process, clearing a ledger of over 300 accounts, and ensuring timely payments from customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clearing a ledger of over 300 accounts with a total value of up to £40,000 per week
- Managing customer accounts to ensure timely payments and resolving payment disputes
- Monitoring credit limits and accurately posting customer payment details into the system
- Resolving disputes over the phone and maintaining positive customer relationships
- Developing and implementing processes to improve debt collection efficiency
Requirements:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Proficient use of Excel and experience with finance systems
- Ability to manage a growing ledger of aged debt alongside business growth
What We Offer:
