We are seeking a highly experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join our team at Owen Daniels. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management across our manufacturing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting operational management in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment, including reporting and resolving accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Driving a zero-accident/incident culture throughout the business, promoting a proactive approach to risk management and compliance.
- Staying up-to-date with regulatory and legislative requirements, including COSHH, RIDDOR, and SEPA submissions, to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
- Coordinating and managing third-party audits and certifications, ensuring seamless integration with our operations.
- Providing regular KPI updates and reports to management, highlighting areas for improvement and tracking progress towards our health, safety, and environmental goals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in health, safety, and environmental management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislations, including COSHH, RIDDOR, and SEPA.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective solutions to improve health, safety, and environmental performance.
