Business to Business Travel Consultant

Are you a seasoned Business Travel Consultant looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a local Kent based position, a London based hybrid, or even a fully homebased role with a reputable independent TMC based in Kent / London.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client needs are consistently met and exceeded.
  2. Ensure the consistent provision of high-quality professional service and personal attention to all corporate accounts.
  3. Liaise and cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them on appropriate destinations, modes of transportation, travel dates, costs, and accommodation.
  4. Ensure clients receive the best travel services available, providing them with the best value for money.
  5. Ensure the company achieves necessary SLAs, delivering exceptional resolution to customer inquiries, meeting delivery times, and inter-department service levels.
  6. Deal with travel problems, complaints, or refunds.
  7. Be responsible for and have an overall awareness of accounts and how they are trading, raising any concerns with the Team Leaders and maintaining a close working relationship with Account Managers.
  8. Continually review processes and identify ways in which aspects of the service experience could be enhanced.
  9. Encourage profit awareness and achievement of financial targets.

Requirements:

  1. 3-4 years' experience within Corporate Travel.
  2. Working knowledge of a GDS (Galileo / Travelport).
  3. Experience of using CRM systems.
  4. First-class customer service skills.
  5. Accuracy and attention to detail.
  6. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Package:

  1. A competitive salary of Circa £31,000 (dependent on location, experience, and working conditions).
  2. Office (hybrid) options available (Kent, London) or fully homebased.
  3. Flexible working hours.
  4. 22 days holiday per year, plus public holidays - increasing to 27 days with length of service.
