Paediatric Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Paediatric Nurse to join our team at Derian House Children's Hospice. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to babies, children, and young people with life-limiting conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Assess the care needs of our patients and develop, implement, and evaluate programmes of care.
- Work collaboratively with our team to provide holistic care and support, respecting the skills and expertise of others.
- Administer medicines safely and effectively, adhering to our operating procedures and guidelines.
- Participate in the primary assessment of newly referred children and refer to the Team Leader for guidance as needed.
- Ensure the respect, dignity, and rights of our patients and their families are upheld at all times.
Derian House Children's Hospice is a leading provider of palliative and end-of-life care, as well as short break respite care, to babies, children, and young people with life-limiting conditions. We are committed to delivering the highest possible standards of care and support, and we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nurse to join our team.
Person Specification- Essential qualifications: RSCN, RN (Child), RGN, RNLD & RMN with a proven track record of paediatric competency and a minimum of 3 years' experience.
- Desirable qualifications: Community nursing experience and a palliative care qualification.
