- CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the testing, deployment, and release processes for applications and infrastructure.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions that improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Linux System Management: Automate the lifecycle management of Linux systems, including provisioning, configuration, patching, and decommissioning.
- Cloud Expertise: Implement automation solutions to manage and maintain large-scale Linux environments, both on-premises and in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Security: Automate the application of security patches, updates, and compliance checks across Linux systems.
- Training and Development: Conduct training sessions or workshops to share automation knowledge and best practices with other teams and departments.
- Technical Leadership: Experience of designing and consulting on engineering solutions, comfortable with being the lead design authority for a project.
- On-Call Rota: Participate in on-call rota.
- Technical SME: Technical SME feeding into an Agile Project delivery artifact such as Scrum meetings, HLDs, LLDs and configuration documentation.
- Red Hat Satellite: Demonstrated experience of building, upgrading, and administering Red Hat Satellite.
- Scripting and IaC: Experience with Scripting and IaC (Bash, Python, YAML etc).
- Cloud Provider Expertise: AWS or other cloud provider expertise.
