AML Compliance Manager

Career Legal is seeking an experienced AML Compliance Manager to join their team in London. As a key member of the Risk and Compliance department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the day-to-day CDD and AML duties, as well as overseeing the AML/Risk & Compliance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise and manage the AML/Risk & Compliance team, ensuring effective workflow and delegation of work.
  2. Provide strong line management and regular AML/Risk & Compliance training to the team.
  3. Oversee the preparation and reporting of AML developments, as well as chairing AML working groups.
  4. Escalate issues to the MLCO when necessary, ensuring compliance with SRA and AML/CTF requirements.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience managing an AML/Risk & Compliance team at an international law firm.
  2. Degree educated (or UK/overseas qualified) with a detailed knowledge of SRA and AML/CTF requirements.
  3. Ideal candidate will have a recognised AML/Compliance qualification.
