Job Title: Clinical Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Educator to join our team at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and evaluating clinical education programs to ensure that our nursing workforce is equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver clinical education programs for nursing staff
  • Develop and implement education strategies to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with senior sisters, quality nurses, and matron to ensure education is aligned with Trust objectives
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify education gaps and develop targeted programs
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of education programs and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with a diploma or degree in nursing
  • Current teaching and assessing qualification
  • Improving Together training
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience at Band 6 level
  • Previous training and development experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
