We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Educator to join our team at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and evaluating clinical education programs to ensure that our nursing workforce is equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and deliver clinical education programs for nursing staff
- Develop and implement education strategies to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with senior sisters, quality nurses, and matron to ensure education is aligned with Trust objectives
- Conduct needs assessments to identify education gaps and develop targeted programs
- Evaluate the effectiveness of education programs and make recommendations for improvement
- Registered Nurse with a diploma or degree in nursing
- Current teaching and assessing qualification
- Improving Together training
- Minimum of 1 year's experience at Band 6 level
- Previous training and development experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills
