Job Title: Asset Safety Officer

Are you a passionate and proactive Health, Safety and Environmental professional looking for a new challenge? Do you want to work for a cutting-edge construction company that prioritizes safety above all else?

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Safety Officer to join our team. As a key member of our HSEQ department, you will provide ongoing regional support to multiple construction sites in Central London.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with clients and internal H&S teams to ensure compliance with company and HSE policies and procedures.
  • Chair internal site H&S meetings and attend client H&S meetings to drive HSEQ initiatives and monitor site safety performance.
  • Support site teams on all H&S aspects, including reviewing safe systems of work and managing day-to-day H&S activities on site.
  • Conduct workplace inspections and report findings, as well as conduct investigations into accidents or incidents.
  • Manage on-site occupational health and provide technical support to site teams.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in a busy site-based H&S role within construction.
  • Effective communication skills at all levels, with client-facing experience.
  • Technical awareness and experience providing health and safety support in the construction and building services sectors.
  • IT literacy and proficient report-writing skills.
