Support Volunteer for Carers of People with Dementia

About the Role
We are seeking a friendly and approachable volunteer to support carers of people living with dementia through our Carers' Information and Support Programmes (CrISP).
As a CrISP Support Volunteer, you will play a vital role in providing emotional support and practical information to carers, helping them to feel more confident and empowered in their caring role.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing a welcoming and non-judgmental space for carers to share their experiences and concerns
- Offering information and guidance on dementia care and support
- Assisting with the delivery of CrISP training sessions, which will take place in the evenings
- Supporting carers to access local resources and services
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a volunteer who is:
- Passionate about supporting carers of people living with dementia
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and able to commit to regular volunteering sessions
