About the Role

We are seeking a friendly and approachable volunteer to support carers of people living with dementia through our Carers' Information and Support Programmes (CrISP).

As a CrISP Support Volunteer, you will play a vital role in providing emotional support and practical information to carers, helping them to feel more confident and empowered in their caring role.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a welcoming and non-judgmental space for carers to share their experiences and concerns
  • Offering information and guidance on dementia care and support
  • Assisting with the delivery of CrISP training sessions, which will take place in the evenings
  • Supporting carers to access local resources and services

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a volunteer who is:

  • Passionate about supporting carers of people living with dementia
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and able to commit to regular volunteering sessions
