About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated volunteer to support carers of people living with dementia through our Carers' Information and Support Programmes (CrISP).

As a CrISP Support Volunteer, you will play a vital role in providing a friendly face and listening ear to carers, helping them feel at ease and providing refreshments.

You will also encourage carers to share their experiences and provide information to support them in caring for a person with dementia.

The volunteering role will require you to support the delivery of CrISP training, which will take place in the evenings from 6:00pm to 9:30pm.

Training sessions will be delivered at least once a week, possibly twice, and will include a mix of online sessions via Zoom and face-to-face sessions in the Borough of Lewisham.
