Job Title: Assistant Management Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join our team at Morgan Jones Limited. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial support and assistance to our management team.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure timely and accurate production of key management account information.
  • Support local managers with inventory management and assist with the preparation and reconciliation of various balance sheet items.
  • Be a key support in the interim and year-end audit with external auditors and work closely with stakeholders as required.
  • Proactively manage workload to ensure all deadlines are met within the month-end timetable.
  • Support fellow team members in the day-to-day running of the Finance department and assist with ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and project work.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year's experience in a similar role.
  • Experience of ERP Systems and within a manufacturing environment.
  • AAT or CIMA/ACCA student or qualified.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to build good relationships with colleagues.
  • Analytical thinking skills, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
