We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at STS Technical Services. As a leading provider of aircraft maintenance services, we require an individual who will play a crucial role in our purchasing processes and support our growing operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Procurement and Supply Chain Management: Ensure timely delivery of materials for projects and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Purchasing and Negotiation: Competitively purchase equipment, tooling, and components, and negotiate best value with suppliers.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to optimize price, delivery, and quality.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with aviation standards for purchased items and manage risks associated with supplier relationships.
- Prior Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably within the aviation industry.
- Skills and Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and purchasing systems, as well as familiarity with RFQs and POs.
- Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as supply chain management or business administration.
