Simmons & Simmons Adaptive - Commercial and Corporate Lawyer Opportunity

Simmons & Simmons Adaptive is a flexible resourcing solution that provides high-quality legal services to clients. We are currently seeking an experienced commercial and corporate lawyer to support a part-time assignment lasting 4-5 months, starting in September.

The successful candidate will provide legal commercial support to cover the absence of a team member, engaging in significant projects while providing crucial legal support. This role offers a unique opportunity for a lawyer with a strong background in commercial law to contribute to various projects and develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice on general commercial law matters and contracts.
  • Review an average of 7-8 business contracts per week, with additional ad hoc work as required.
  • Utilize your general corporate/commercial background to contribute to various projects.

Requirements:

  • Must be a Qualified Lawyer
  • Experience in commercial law ideally in the financial services industry
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
