Job Title: Thermal & Electrical Test Engineer

Job Summary:

Certain Advantage is partnering with a leading aerospace company to find an experienced Thermal & Electrical Test Engineer. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting a range of engineering activities within the Environmental test and Electrical test skill areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and undertake test operations on space equipment.
  • Design and manufacture bespoke test setups.
  • Perform mechanical operations on test facilities to support desired test setup.
  • Review and analyze post-test data.
  • Compile test data, produce test certification, and reports.
  • Responsible for the production of local documentation.
  • Maintain test instrumentation, facilities, and equipment.
  • Liaise with internal and external customers about their projects.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of electrical/mechanical testing of high-value high-precision assemblies.
  • Experience in a bespoke test and manufacturing environment within the electrical/mechanical industries under high-quality control.
  • Computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office software.
  • Engineering knowledge, including the ability to understand and use both mechanical and electrical formulae.
  • Knowledge of electrical test techniques/systems & space environmental conditions in a test environment.
  • Signal processing/analysis knowledge.
