Security Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at a distribution centre in Nottingham. As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of security officers and ensuring the safety and security of the site.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Focused Experience: Deliver an outstanding customer-focused experience by ensuring the security and safety of residents and staff.
- Team Management: Manage all team members to ensure they are keeping residents safe in case of fire and working with building managers regarding fire safety.
- Incident Response: Ensure the team can quickly spot a fire and help residents evacuate safely while liaising with emergency services.
- Staff Welfare: Responsible for staff welfare, including performance, training, absenteeism, holidays, and sickness.
- Client Liaison: Attend client meetings and take minutes, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Accident Investigation: Investigate all accidents and incidents, ensuring compliance with site assignment instructions and audits.
- Service Level Agreements: Ensure that contractual service level agreements and KPIs are met to cover operational requirements.
- Roster Management: Manage the roster to meet client requirements, ensuring adequate staffing levels.
- Training and Development: Deliver training and support for new and existing staff, promoting professional development and growth.
- A minimum of 2 years previous Security supervision experience leading multi-officer teams.
- Excellent communications skills and attention to detail.
- Experience creating rota patterns and training new staff.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent leadership qualities.
- Understanding of Health & Safety requirements and reporting.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Hold a valid SIA Licence.
