Position Overview

As the Lead Indirect Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for formulating and executing sourcing strategies that govern and support all departments regarding indirect expenditures. This includes, but is not limited to, areas such as information technology, facilities management, travel services, telecommunications, human resources, professional services, marketing, and office supplies.

This position operates in a hybrid model, requiring some travel to effectively manage procurement activities across the EMEA region. The standard working hours are 38.75 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, with flexible scheduling between 8 AM and 6 PM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieving annual cost reductions and enhancing working capital efficiency.
  • Spearheading strategic sourcing initiatives for indirect categories within the EMEA region while collaborating with the global procurement team to implement comprehensive agreements.
  • Leading the planning, alignment, and execution of critical procurement strategies across all indirect categories.
  • Driving strategic sourcing and optimization efforts with all functional stakeholders by leveraging in-depth market and supplier knowledge.
  • Negotiating contracts with vendors to secure advantageous terms for Global Draw Limited.
  • Ensuring effective budget utilization in relevant spending areas while continuously pursuing savings, minimizing risks, and enhancing operational efficiencies.
  • Supporting the ongoing enhancement of company-wide procurement processes and collaborating with leadership across functions to foster impactful, efficient, and cost-effective vendor relationships.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement in procurement processes while adhering to audit and compliance requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Ideally, possess CIPS or MCIPS certification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, as well as Oracle and/or Navision.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capable of preparing presentations and reports effectively.
  • Ability to engage and influence various internal and external stakeholders across regional offices.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and multitasking skills to develop strategies for all indirect categories while collaborating with international colleagues to achieve cost savings, improved payment terms, spend visibility, and sustainable sourcing.
  • Proven capability to lead procurement professionals in their respective product categories.
