Agricultural Recruitment Specialists is working with a progressive, family-run dairy farm in Shropshire. This thriving operation manages a herd of 340 cows and is dedicated to high animal welfare standards and sustainable farming practices.

We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join their team as a Dairy Farm Operative.

The Role
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery for various field tasks and general farm upkeep.
  • Ensure all farm equipment and facilities are kept in top condition through regular maintenance and repairs.
  • Assist in feeding the herd, ensuring all dietary requirements are met.
  • Participate in daily milking routines, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and care.
The Candidate

We are looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience in a mixed farming environment.
  • Proficiency in operating tractors and other farm machinery.
  • Basic maintenance and mechanical skills.
  • Knowledge of dairy farming practices, including feeding and milking.
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
