Early Years Assistant Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Assistant to join our team at Bright Horizons Epsom Waltham House Day Nursery and Preschool. As an Early Years Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 3 months-5 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the nursery team to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities and learning experiences that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and shared understanding of children's needs.
  • Contribute to the development of children's skills and abilities, including literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
  • Support the nursery team in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children.
