We're seeking an experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our dynamic team at a vibrant nursery within a Further Education college.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement play-based activities tailored to individual children's needs, promoting cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create inclusive and stimulating learning environments that encourage exploration and creativity.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on children's progress and daily activities.
  • Develop and deliver activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development, adapting approaches to meet diverse needs.
  • Contribute to a culture that values and celebrates diversity among children, including cultural, linguistic, and individual differences.
Requirements:
  • NVQ level 2 or 3 in Early Years/Childcare development.
  • Previous experience working with young children in a nursery setting.
  • Familiarity with the EYFS framework and awareness of special educational needs.
