Job Summary:

SJ Sourcing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Compliance, Health to join our team. As a key member of our central team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and management for all aspects of estates, facilities, and health and safety across our 15 sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor health and safety practices and provide guidance and support to site teams.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement risk management strategies.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for site teams to enhance their health and safety knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of health and safety incidents and near misses, and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a health and safety leadership role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
